Job Description
Serves as the supervisory team lead (or supervisory deputy team lead) for the Intelligence Analyst II team for Strategic Threat Assessment and Risk. Acts as primary (or secondary) interlocuter for the intelligence analyst team with client representatives and incorporates client operational and policy requirements into the intelligence analysts' operations. Maintains quality control and assurance standards in accordance with client requirements. Responsible for fulfilling corporate requirements such as performance and annual evaluations, establishing pay raise recommendations, mentoring, and coordinating employee development needs. Performs the full range of managerial and liaison responsibilities with authority over planning activities and personnel matters.
Oversees the all-source intelligence analysis of threat environment, using both classified and open-source intelligence and reporting streams and pertaining to geographic regions of coverage, with a focus on technical espionage threats and vulnerabilities. Using qualitative and quantitative analytical risk management methodologies, conducts risk analysis pertaining to overseas diplomatic facilities and works with subject matter experts to help develop risk mitigation strategies. Coordinates information collection efforts to enhance the quality of threat reporting. Leads the compilation of threat information into periodic reports used for input at overseas missions and domestic planning. Provides both written and verbal briefings for executive-level and other State Department personnel. Develops, maintains, and interacts with liaisons and collaborates with analysts across the intelligence, law enforcement, and international communities. Participates in Department and interagency committees, conferences, and working groups to ensure the protection of national security information, facilities, and personnel at diplomatic facilities.
Key Duties

• Produce risk assessments and threat reporting for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with IC, law enforcement, and international partners.
• Lead briefings, tasking, and quality control of analytical products.
Requirements
• Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• GS-0132 equivalent experience; prior supervisory experience.
• Expertise in technical intelligence and risk methodologies.
• Experience briefing executive-level audiences.
