Job Description
• Project: Air Force's airborne node connecting warfighters to decision-quality data.
• Drive:
• Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices.
• Requirements development and architecture work.
• Interface definition across hardware, software, and operations.
• Collaborate closely with:
• Government stakeholders
• Software, test, mechanical, and electrical teams
• Daily Tasks:
• Develop SysML models.
• Refine system architectures.
• Support interface definition.
• Enable executable modeling.
• Contribute to the digital engineering thread.
Required Skills and Experience
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree + 8–12 years relevant experience
• OR Master’s degree + 6–10 years relevant experience
• Additional: 4 years of experience acceptable in lieu of a degree
• Active DoD TS clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Experience:
• Working in a Software Integration Laboratory (SIL) environment.
• SysML; Cameo/MagicDraw.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban).
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• OCSMP certification.
• Experience with SysML executable simulations and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with MBSE methodologies (e.g., MagicGrid).
• Understanding of military Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
