As a Virtualization Product Manager at CyberPoint, you will define and drive the product vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems with a focus on virtualization and containerization technologies in support of Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO).
You will work closely with engineers, architects and mission stakeholders to deliver scalable virtualization and container platforms that support secure, mission-critical cyber capabilities. This role requires deep familiarity with enterprise virtualization environments, container orchestration platforms and Agile product development within complex government programs.

What You'll Do
- Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for virtualization and containerization platforms supporting OCO mission systems.
- Provide thought leadership and collaborate with key stakeholders to design and deliver secure virtualized and containerized environments.
- Lead product backlog refinement, ensuring features and capabilities are well defined, prioritized and decomposed into actionable user stories.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to support Program Increment (PI) planning, execution and cross-team coordination.
- Engage with Joint Cyber Weapons stakeholders, USCYBERCOM, NSA, Services and Combatant Commands to gather feedback and align capability delivery.
- Participate in technical exchange meetings (TEMs), operational working groups, and OCO forums focused on virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Develop product concepts, roadmaps, test plans and functional specifications for enterprise virtualization and container platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver secure, scalable, multi-platform applications.
- Mentor junior product managers and guide cross-functional teams to deliver capabilities on schedule and within program objectives.
What You'll Need
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI + CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum:
- 12 years of experience with Bachelor's degree
- 10 years with Master's degree
- 16 years with HS Diploma or Associate's degree
- Significant experience working with virtualization and containerization technologies
- Experience supporting government or defense/intelligence programs
- Strong understanding of virtualization and infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical and documentation skills
What Will Set You Apart
- SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification or similar Agile credentials
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms such as vSphere and vCenter
- Familiarity with service mesh and distributed services (e.g., Keycloak, MinIO, Vault)
- Experience supporting scalable distributed systems and messaging frameworks such as NATS.io
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise cybersecurity programs
- Demonstrated ability to guide product strategy and mentor junior product managers
