Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- 3 years of related work experience for level 3, or 5 years for level 4
- Ability to travel to various job sites as needed
- Experience in AV systems field installation
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with active/current counterintelligence polygraph
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher
- AVIXA CTS certification
- Experience with DSP platforms such as Biamp or QSC
- Familiarity with Crestron, Extron, and Thinklogical systems
- An adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Survey, plan, develop, design, configure, and test multi-classification AV solutions for government customers
- Lead or attend customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements
- Draft system engineering documentation, including signal flows, line diagrams, bills of materials, rack elevations, and cable plants
- Support onsite installation of AV systems and lead system configuration phases
- Support the development of end-user training materials and operations & maintenance plans
- Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations
- Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications
