Essential Duties of the Cyber Operations Analyst:
- Provide holistic enterprise defensive strategies for enterprise cyber security capabilities. To include but not limited to Cloud, network boundaries, cross domains, and varying endpoint technologies.
- Provide analysis of architectures, technologies, policies, information and analytic data used to determine prevention, detection, and mitigation of anomalous activity, vulnerabilities and inefficiencies.
- Perform cyber situational awareness activities and provide analysis and recommendations of situation awareness capabilities.
- Provide enterprise-wide cybersecurity, threat analysis, countermeasures and defensive strategies.
Qualifications of the Cyber Operations Analyst:
- 4 - 8+ years of related SOC or Cyber experience
- Prior experience working in a SOC
- Experience with Splunk
- Experience with IDS/IPS tools.
- Experience with Wireshark PCAP
- This is a 24x7x365 environment and requires flexibility to work different shifts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCIclearance.
Compensation for the Cyber Operations Analyst:
- $120,000 - $180,000 (based on experience)
