This position will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems along with the daily activities of configuration and operation of those systems. In addition, will provide Tier 2 support including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
Required Skills
• Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS, CatOS, Juniper
• Physical installation and configuration, and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols.
• Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
Qualifications
• Fifteen years demonstrable experience (with BS degree, or 20 years without) in Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
