The Global Threat Analyst III provides senior-level intelligence analysis and threat assessments in direct support of AFSOC/CC, AFSOC/A2, Headquarters staff, and subordinate units. This role delivers timely situational awareness and executive-level briefings on current and emerging global threats impacting Air Force Special Operations.
The contractor employee will serve as an air-focused senior threat analyst, specializing in countries and regions relevant to global special operations. As the global security environment evolves, the analyst is expected to maintain expert-level knowledge and continuous situational awareness to inform senior leadership decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational intelligence briefings to AFSOC leadership, HQ staff, and operational units on global threat environments.
Maintain deep expertise in threat actors, capabilities, intent, and operational environments associated with global special operations.
Monitor and assess changes in the global security landscape to identify emerging and evolving threats.
Develop and contribute to Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE) in support of AFSOC missions.
Integrate and analyze multiple intelligence disciplines, including:
Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)
Human Intelligence (HUMINT)
Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
Human Geography / Socio-Cultural (Human Domain)
Publicly Available Information (PAI)
Apply Intelligence Community (IC) requirements, methodologies, tradecraft, and analytic standards to all intelligence products in support of AFSOC.
Produce clear, accurate, and actionable intelligence products, including Commander Update Briefings and threat assessments.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in intelligence analysis and production within the last 12 years.
Demonstrated mastery of senior threat analyst duties and responsibilities.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience integrating HUMINT, IMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT into IPOE development and Commander-level briefings within the last 12 years.
Extensive experience operating within Intelligence Community (IC) standards and analytic tradecraft.
Proven ability to brief senior leaders clearly and confidently on complex threat issues.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
An additional 8 years of intelligence analysis and production experience beyond the degree requirement.
Compensation:
$95,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.
