ONSITE LOCATION: Aurora, CO
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance in Aurora, CO to upgrade an advanced hardware/software system.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active TS/SCI Clearance. Top Secret candidates will be considered if they are eligible for an SCI crossover prior to start.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 5 years to 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- Experience developing object-oriented software using Java
- Experience with Visual Basic and Python
- Experience with Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems
- Experience using development tools such as Jira, Git, and Eclipse
PREFERRED
- Experience upgrading complex hardware and software systems
- Experience upgrading COTS and FOSS software
- Experience working with Oracle databases
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update software versions for COTS and FOSS software
- Update software and hardware infrastructure
- Develop, integrate, and test software needed to update the system
- Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
What You Will Learn
- A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques
- Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques
- Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense project
