Responsibilities

  • Assist PR Aviation Branch Chief (A3JO) with the draft, assessment, edits, improvements to current HH-60 and HC-130 aircraft publications and syllabus.
  • These programs include the HH-60G PAVE HAWK, HH- 60W JOLLY GREEN II, and HC-130J COMBAT KING II.
  • Draft and maintain PR Aviation special certification training syllabi to support AF-wide requirements and meet the intent of DoDD.
  • Responsible for ensuring content remains relevant with evolving requirements, aircraft modifications, and changes to MDS TTPs.
  • Coordinate with all other MAJCOMs to ensure unique training requirements are incorporated.
  • Provide PR Aviation SME support to ACC and AF PR Aviation functional leadership to meet the requirements of PR Aviation regulations.
  • Provide coordination/assistance on policy and guidance, manpower actions, training, operational employment, and utilization.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and conduct site visits and/or analysis for new/existing PR Aviation weapons systems training and employment.
  • Develop, review and coordinate Program and policy (AFI 11-MWS Vols 1, 2, 3) with the operational unit, COCOM, MAJCOM, and HAF.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years Personnel Recovery/Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) operational experience.
  • 4 years of NAF, MAJCOM, or HAF level staff (action officer) experience.
  • 2 years of experience with and proficient with Task Management Tool (TMT).
  • Must be a US citizen w/the ability to pass a thorough background check.
  • Must be willing to travel if/when needed.
