Strategic Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Principal Operations and Planning Analyst to support mission-critical planning and operational integration efforts of cyber and space capabilities into Combatant Command operational plans, crisis action planning, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a senior liaison across operational commands, integrating space, cyber, and intelligence capabilities into executable CONOPS, COAs, and operational orders in support of national objectives. This role requires extensive experience operating within Joint environments and translating operational requirements into executable technical solutions under sensitive authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and support deliberate and crisis action planning efforts across Combatant Commands and Joint Staff organizations.
•Develop and integrate cyber and space capabilities into CONOPS, COAs, OPORDs, and EXORD packages.
•Provide subject matter expertise in Special Access Programs (SAP) and Special Technical Operations (STO) planning and execution.
•Synchronize cyber, space, and intelligence capabilities to enable joint operational effects.
•Brief senior leaders (GO/FO and SES-level) on operational concepts, mission risk, and integration strategies.
•Serve as a senior planning advisor during Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), and integration boards.
•Coordinate with USCYBERCOM, USSPACECOM, NSA, Fleet Cyber Command, and geographic COCOMs to ensure unity of effort.
•Integrate cyber and space capabilities into targeting cycles, operational fires, and campaign planning.
•Provide expertise on authorities, execution frameworks, and operational constraints.
•Support operational assessment and battle damage evaluation processes.
•Establish or enhance operational coordination mechanisms (e.g., watch centers, cross-functional planning cells).
•Synchronize intelligence gain/loss considerations with operational objectives.
•Coordinate across intelligence, cyber, and space stakeholders to deconflict sensitive activities.
•Provide technical insight into emerging threats, adversary behaviors, and mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications:
•Active TS/SCI clearance
•Minimum 15+ years of recent and relevant experience in DoD operations, joint planning, cyber operations, space integration, intelligence, or related national security activities
•Extensive experience supporting Combatant Commands in deliberate and crisis action planning
•Demonstrated expertise developing and briefing CONOPS, COAs, OPORDs at GO/FO levels
•Experience operating within Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Special Technical Operations (STO) environments
•Strong understanding of Joint operational art and operational design
•Proven ability to work independently in high-visibility, time-sensitive environments
•Exceptional written and verbal briefing skills
•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; however, any combination of relevant coursework, professional certifications, and demonstrated years of experience (including qualifying military service) may be accepted in lieu of formal degree requirements.
