Specialized experience is defined as experience: 1) Applying advanced strategic planning principles to shape long-range acquisition goals, 2) Overseeing complex program activities to ensure alignment with established performance measures, 3) Executing acquisition functions by interpreting regulatory requirements, and 4) Leading multidisciplinary teams through development of personnel to support organizational effectiveness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03).

Conditions of employment

- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for (Professional) level, Contracting certification, within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
