Ground C2 Systems SME (SysAd)

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Ground C2 Systems SME Sys Admin to join our team at Camp Pendleton, CA (Oceanside, CA) near San Diego CA. You will be working with a team that is tasked with test and evaluation services in a Test and Engineering Division to design test architecture and integrate Ground C2 systems into common operational frameworks. The Ground C2 Systems SME will configure systems, troubleshoot networks, and ensure interoperability with aviation platforms. Maintain operating systems and virtual environments, support documentation development, and offer operational insight during testing phases. Resolve integration issues and support effective test and field operations.

Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a systems engineer.
• Two years' experience performing engineering, software development, testing, or system administration of Ground C2 systems such as JTCW, TCS, GCCS, TSOA, CHE, CDN, JBC-P, or MCH.
• Experience in project management, configuration management and quality control procedures.
• Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems (desired).
• Experience in Microsoft Active Directory (desired).
• Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching (desired).
• Other duties as assigned to support team goals and maintain operational efficiency.

Certification Requirement:

• CompTIA Security+ certification, Desired.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Desired.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Desired.
• Certified Systems Engineering Professional, Desired.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related field.

Clearance Requirements:

• An active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required to start in this position.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel for this position is anticipated to be 10%-25% within the Continental United States and 10%-25% outside the Continental United States.

The pay range for this position in is $108,000/year to $150,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
