Ground C2 Systems SME

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Ground C2 System SME to join our team at Camp Pendleton, CA (Oceanside, CA) near San Diego CA. You will be working with a team that is tasked with test and evaluation services in a Test and Engineering Division to lead technical support for Ground C2 system testing and engineering. The Ground C2 System SME will Assign and track tasks, mentor staff, and develop integrated solutions. Engage with customers to define requirements, manage lab setups, and oversee configuration. Review documentation, support system maintenance, and ensure testing aligns with operational and engineering objectives.

Responsibilities:

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in operating, administering, training, or testing Ground C2 systems such as Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture (COP) Workstation (JTCW), Tactical COP Server (TCS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Tactical Service Oriented Architecture (TSOA), Common Hosting Environment (CHE), Combat Data Network (CDN), Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P), or MAGTF Common Handheld (MCH).
• Demonstrates advanced expertise in operating and integrating multiple ground C2 systems to support common operational picture development. This role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, proficiency in system administration across multiple platforms, and the ability to provide operational expertise during complex test and engineering events.
• Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems, Desired.
• Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Desired.
• Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching, Desired.
• Other duties as assigned to support team goals and maintain operational efficiency.

Certification Requirements:

• CompTIA Security+ certification, Desired.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED.

Clearance Requirements:

• An active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required to start in this position.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel for this position is anticipated to be 30%-50% within the Continental United States and 10%-25% outside the Continental United States.

The pay range for this position in is $120,000/year to $140,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
