The Opportunity:

Provide expert-level technical support and subject matter expertise on AF/Joint Battle Management/Command and Control (BM/C2) and Joint Fires strategy, workflows, and applications to support future AF concepts, capability development, and operations associated with DAF Integrated Development Campaign (IDC) teams, CCMD taskings, and other DoD activities/guidance. Focus areas include but are not limited to: enhancing integration of disparate communities and capabilities to enable targeting and Joint Fires via informing future organizational, system, tradecraft, policy, and capability/technology solution design and implementation, with an emphasis on employing integrated C2, ISR and targeting (C2ISR-T) and kill-chain operations. Existing projects/programs include but are not limited to: Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) / DAF Battle Network initiatives, Long Range Kill Chain (LRKC), Over the Horizon Targeting (OTH-T), C2 and Intelligence Teaming, and Project Nexus (integration of AOC, AF DCGS, and Targeting enterprises, networks, operations, and capabilities).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Senior level strategic support to ACC leadership with a focus on Command and Control.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for consideration on future capabilities and mission alignment (to include AF DCGS/C2/LRKC operations) supporting future Command and Control (C2), Battle Management (BM), Target Engagement Authority (TEA), and ISR-T data flows, systems, and operations. As well as C2 and Intelligence Teaming Efforts. Primary focus on C2.
  • Analyze/research interpret National and Service-level policy and guidance (NDS, NMS, etc.) and emerging concepts and capabilities (C-JADC2, ABMS, Joint Warfighting Concept, AFFOC and SECAF OI initiatives), providing recommendations to posture AF to support future operating environments.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to offer recommendations regarding the integration of new technology, design concepts, and systems to improve data sharing and interoperability across C2, ISR, Targeting (C2ISR-T) communities, and joint/coalition partners.
  • Assess automation, augmentation, and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AAA) capabilities and requirements supporting future integration of tactical data into relevant kill-chains.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to current AF DCGS/LRKC/C2-Intel enterprise requirements process to deliver capabilities on time, that meet Government requirements, are integrated with other "family of systems," and can be modified for future capabilities.
  • Identify current processes, data flows, disparate program efforts, and issues hindering AFFOC/ABMS/Nexus/LRKC implementation. DCGS Wide area network modernization in support of DAF Battle Network and integration with long range fires. This includes the integration of DoD/Service/MAJCOM-level transformation efforts to enhance targeting and kill-chain efficiencies.
  • Participate in working groups, information exchanges, design reviews, and integration teams.
  • Build products based on Division leadership requirements and ACC senior leader requests for information, including, but not limited to briefings, strategic roadmaps, exercise plans, and operational concepts.
  • Provide executive level support of modernizing BM/C2, ISR-T, Joint Fires, and operational capabilities/workflows for future operations. Including, but not limited to the following:
  • Review and document kill-chain features to scale for consideration in future AF capabilities and operations.
  • Target Custody/Engagement process map to identify organizational responsibilities and capabilities across all C2ISR-T operational entities within the kill-chain (strategic, operational, and tactical).
  • Propose changes to future force structures, operations, and training to modernize, accelerate, and integrate C2ISR-T operations, exercises, readiness events, plans, and activities in accordance with government direction and oversight within the bounds of the F3I-3 contract.
  • Support ACC and other AF, Joint, DoD, and IC organizations to plan, develop, and execute operations as a part of ABMS, Nexus, AF DCGS, Targeting, C2 and other future capabilities and concepts.
  • Work with lead AF and Joint (Service and CCMD) organizations to facilitate capability and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures workflow integration.
  • Support to government representatives with Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for AF/DoD, exercises, technical exchanges, working groups, demonstrations, pilots, and similar events ISO LRKC, C2-Intel, and future operating concepts.
  • Support Government representatives with strategic, operational, and tactical planning/strategy/implementation plans, plan of action and milestones (POA&M), CONOPS/CONEMPS and other project-related efforts .


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
  • B achelors (advanced degree preferred) in Systems intelligence/analytics related, or related disciplines and 12 years System Analyst experience.
