Job Overview
We are seeking a Migration Engineer to provide Migration Engineering Services across multiple data centers using high availability for the virtualized technologies Infrastructure Service Provider/Application Service Provider (ISP/ASP) program, based onsite in Chantilly, VA. The candidate will serve as the key interface to Application Service Providers (ASPs), managing provisioning, migration, and reclamation of Compute, Network, and Storage Resources, as well as Infrastructure Services such as backup and archive. Responsibilities include guiding ASPs through the on-boarding process, capturing and validating technical requirements, conducting tag-ups, communicating with stakeholders, tracking progress, interfacing with Tier 2, Tier 3, and Engineering experts, and supporting customer board meetings and post-provisioning deployment as required. This full-time position operates on a standard schedule with potential for additional hours as needed to meet program objectives.

Clearance Requirements
• U.S. Citizenship and current TS/SCI with CI polygraph eligibility
• Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information

Required Skills
• Working knowledge of the fundamentals of Compute, Storage, and Networking technologies
• Working knowledge of Windows platform operating systems (Windows 10 and Server 2019 or higher)
• Working knowledge of virtualization products, with a focus on VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vRealize Operations
• Working knowledge of storage devices, including File, Block, Object, S3, and vSAN
• Working knowledge of Systems Engineering
• Demonstrated capacity to understand and communicate technical ideas, concepts, and thoughts across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions
• Demonstrated experience in communicating both orally and in writing with program and customer leadership, customers, and end users
• Demonstrated experience in networking, building relationships, and delivering results
• Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including building spreadsheets, consolidating input across various offices, and editing/updating as needed

Desired Skills
• Desired DODI 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)
• Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) mission
• ITIL Service Operations knowledge
• IT Service Management and Tools knowledge, including ServiceNow tools
• Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware) coupled with Cloud infrastructure knowledge
• Working knowledge of Compute, Network, and Storage
• Working knowledge of Managed Kubernetes services
• Working knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanisms to release and manage in cloud and on-premises environments
• Working knowledge of an entire project lifecycle of architecting, developing, or implementing information systems

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in technical data center operations
• 8 years of equivalent hands-on experience working with customers in technical data center operations can be substituted for a degree
