The Opportunity:

The role involves developing analytics to offer insights and outcomes related to the performance and security of Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS). The team will utilize Authoritative Data Sources (ADS) within these analytics and apply various technologies, including machine learning where relevant, to address specific problem sets.

Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing real-time health and status monitoring tools and methods for instrumenting the enterprise's infrastructure and components. Security and IT standards, established through Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Network (STE/STN), are in place, necessitating ongoing monitoring and drift analysis.

Analytics will be employed to bolster the performance and security of services provided by EIS, particularly in Year 4. The role also entails maintaining and improving existing applications and graphical user interfaces (GUIs), including NetFlow and Port Security.

Additionally, the team collaborates with the Network Tools Services team to meet customer requirements, working across multiple hosting platforms such as OpenStack, AWS, and VMWare to support Linux VMs. This position offers opportunities to learn about the product and gain in-depth experience in VM Management and DevOps.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance GUI frontend for Connectivity, NetFlow & Port Security dashboard, and the SNMP GUI
  • Some backend support in Typescript to support new and enhanced features
  • Maintain poller, collectors, and data ingest functions using Java and Python
  • Database management (MongoDB, Postgres or similar)


Qualifications:

Required
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Monitoring and managing production Linux VMs
  • Experience with system architecting
  • Experience in Linux
  • Ansible
  • Experience as a team lead
  • Experience with containerization
  • Experience with networking
  • Experience in Java
  • Familiarization with Haipe
  • Experience in Python
  • Experience in Full stack
  • IAT Level 2 Certification


Education and Experience:
  • 12 years minimum experience with a High school Diploma/GED.
  • 10 years minimum experience with an Associate's degree.
  • 8 years minimum experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • 6 years minimum experience with a Master's degree.
  • 4 years minimum experience with a Doctorate's degree.


Desired:
  • RedHat certification
  • Git
  • Splunk
  • Typescript, Angular 10+, and Java.
  • MongoDB, Kubernetes (Docker) Relational data bases (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Sybase, etc...)
