The Opportunity:
CACI has a need for experienced Hardness Maintenance/Hardness Surveillance Field Service Technicians in Aurora, CO. These positions will reside at Buckley SFB, CO.
This position provides quality professional technical and engineering support using knowledge of and skills in Hardness Maintenance and Hardness Surveillance of customer assets and support systems in accordance with established engineering, maintenance and development practices. Technician will interface in a professional and courteous manner with DoD and other contractor personnel daily.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates and performs activities involving HM/HS maintenance and modifications to mobile platforms
2. Performs Hardness Surveillance testing
3. Drafts, edits, and submits formal and informal reports
4. Provides liaison for the Government Program Office and CACI Albuquerque personnel for reporting and investigating HM/HS system deficiencies
5. Follows established quality control procedures
6. Accomplishes CACI recurring training and general email taskings
7. Performs on-site maintenance and configuration of identified hardness critical items protected equipment and systems (HM/HS)
• Monthly Inspections
• Quarterly Inspections
• Semi - Annual Inspections
• HM/HS repair
8. Return all failed parts (package and mail back) to Depot (Albuquerque)
9. Shipping runs when required
10. Coordinates and assists with depot activities involving other than HM/HS maintenance and modifications to the mobile platform
11. Create Material Requests for all parts required
12. Maintain and update drawings and manuals as required
13. Reviews and provide comments on written documents such as User Requests, ECNs, ECPs, and other documentation
14. Provides training to maintenance and operations personnel as required
15. Assists with on-site maintenance of power generation and HVAC systems
16. Works with CACI and customer personnel to develop training materials as required
Qualifications:
Required:
Requires job knowledge of Hardness Maintenance Hardness Surveillance maintenance of mobile assets. Procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
Typically, has 5 years of experience or more. Vocational or technical education in addition to related work experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel.
Physical abilities include the use of arms, hands, and fingers to operate tools and various equipment. Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, bending, crawling, reaching, and handling, pushing, pulling, and working in confined spaces.
Able to focus on items less than 20 inches away (corrected or uncorrected), see in three dimensions and distinguish all colors.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance before start of work.
Responsibilities will include refurbishment of customer equipment that consists of the following activities: sanding, grinding, cleaning, painting, and use of various hand tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, etc.
Could be tasked to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25% of the time.
Possess proven problem-solving skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
Use of basic test equipment, pneumatic, powered and hand tools will be required.

2. Current experience with operation of HM/HS test equipment
3. Current HVAC License
4. Generator maintenance background and experience
