- Secure Mission-Critical Systems: Take charge of supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Collateral information systems, safeguarding our Aerospace and Government assets while driving compliance and excellence.
- Collaborate with Industry Leaders: Serve as a key liaison with both Aerospace and Government customers, helping shape strategic security solutions in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Translates complex government regulations into technical and security solutions. Oversees technical assessments, system evaluations, audit log reviews, and monitors data transfers to ensure adherence to government security policies.
- Develops and maintains System Security Plans (SSPs) and related documentation to secure government Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) for classified systems and manages the approval process for hardware and software.
- Trains and briefs staff on information assurance practices, ensuring all personnel have the necessary clearances and understand their roles. Regularly communicates with government and aerospace customers to facilitate status updates, inspections, and incident response.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements Information Assurance Manager (Security Manager Information Assurance) include:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent is required, in addition to a minimum of (10) years of diverse hands-on experience OR a Bachelor's degree accompanied by a minimum of (5) years professional work experience in a relevant field, is required.
- Serve as the primary Information System Security Manager, leading a high-performing team of ISSOs. Leverage your prior management experience to ensure optimal IA staffing and seamless coordination across diverse government programs, driving excellence in security operations and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple assets efficiently throughout the assessment and authorization process, ensuring timely and compliant Authorization to Operate (ATO) approvals while maintaining a high standard of quality and security.
- Possess DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II certification (CISSP, GSLC, CISM preferred) or show commitment to attaining this certification within six months of hire. We support your professional development as you contribute to our dynamic, forward-thinking team.
- This position requires a current and active Top Secret clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- (8) or more years of progressive information security management experience, with a strong background in leading Information Assurance/Cybersecurity teams in fast-paced environments is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the assessment and authorization process, including a proven track record of obtaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) for multiple systems.
- In-depth understanding of NIST 800-53 control families and test methodologies, with the ability to validate that security controls are properly implemented. Familiar with the principles of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability, and knowledgeable about how CNNSI 1253 applies these to federal information systems.
- Experience working with ICD-503 and other Intelligence Community Directives and standards, ensuring robust compliance within secure environments.
- Skilled in using compliance and vulnerability assessment tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Nessus, as well as IA monitoring tools like eMass, ArcSight, SNoW, and TALON.
- Aptitude for interpreting and applying insights from Intelligence Community Vulnerability Alerts (ICVA) and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in order to proactively mitigate risks.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government, is strongly preferred. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
