Job Description:
- Defines and validates requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems.
- Designs, develops and tests applications.
- Performs trade studies and other forms of analysis to formulate optimum solutions for users.
- Develops and deploys new or revised processes in support of new computing systems, including documentation and training.
- Supports the development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote use of common tools and processes.
- Facilitates integration of new technologies and the transition from legacy systems to support business requirements.
- Works under general direction with the senior manager.
This a role for creating ADO teams & boards as well as being a centralized role for ensuring-
- Manages Team Structure & Naming conventions
- Manages Area Path structure (this controls read/write privileges and acts as a core ontology for WBS)
- Manages Common Iteration Path structure & standards (enables all dashboard widgets and standardized queries)
- Teaching how to use ADO (people often request customization within ADO, we find requests for customization is typically rooted not knowing how to use OOTB functionality)
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance of Azure DevOps projects, ensuring they operate smoothly.
- Monitor project performance and implement necessary updates and optimizations.
- Identify opportunities for AI integration within existing tools to enhance functionality.
- Provide training and support to team members on Azure DevOps best practices and AI applications.
- Address any issues that arise within the Azure DevOps environment.
Required Skill Sets:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, working with various levels of the organization so need to be comfortable working with different levels of the business.
- Azure DevOps experience 3 + years
Preferred ex:
- Software coding
Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
