Position Overview
MBL is looking for a senior technical leader capable of integrating offensive/defensive cybersecurity practices, systems engineering, and mission analysis to identify vulnerabilities, model operational impacts, and develop actionable remediation strategies.
This role demands someone who can independently lead technical assessments, craft cybersecurity requirements and policy, brief executive leadership, and align diverse engineering and operational stakeholders around closure of complex cybersecurity risks.

Knowledge Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of:
Offensive and defensive cyber operations concepts and techniques relevant to advanced platforms and electronic systems.
Electronic Warfare (EW), Information Operations (IO), and cyber/EW interactions within system‑of‑systems mission architectures.
Intelligence‑driven mission dependencies, including classification boundaries and protection of sensitive operational data.
RMF/FISMA and related cybersecurity compliance frameworks, including inheritance models and enterprise authorization processes.
Enterprise cybersecurity governance, policy development, and controls implementation for operational systems.
AI/ML considerations for mission platforms, including telemetry analytics, anomaly detection, and cyber‑defense modeling.
Skills Requirements
The role must be able to:
Conduct mission‑based cyber risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and operational impact modeling for fielded systems.
Develop clear, actionable cybersecurity policy, technical guidance, and requirements aligned with system architecture and lifecycle milestones.
Perform requirements engineering for complex systems, including interface definitions and cybersecurity TTPs.
