The Senior Project Manager Analyst for Surface Training Systems Program office (PMS 339) requires the following professional and engineering services to support all strategic program planning, policy, research and development, acquisition, technical insertion and life-cycle management of surface training platforms to educate and ensure the competency of U.S. Navy Sailors through delivery of aligned, consistent and proven training solutions.

The Opportunity:
The Senior Project Manager Analyst for Surface Training Systems Program office (PMS 339) requires the following professional and engineering services to support all strategic program planning, policy, research and development, acquisition, technical insertion and life-cycle management of surface training platforms to educate and ensure the competency of U.S. Navy Sailors through delivery of aligned, consistent and proven training solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the manpower and training PAPM/APM for developing and evaluating established programs and procedures for new construction and modernization efforts.
- Develop and track acquisition documents with program information pertaining to milestones, technical reviews, and briefings for all new construction and modernization projects.
- Conduct product support by developing and/or assisting in the review of CSPPs, PSMDs, SMDs, NTSPs, FEAs, TE, TEEPs, and other documentation, as required, from the OPNAVINST 1500.76 (series).
- Receive, monitor, track and update designated platform master planning schedules, CSPPs, PSMD/SMDs, NTSPs, and other required MPT products to govern the management of cost, schedule, performance, and risk related to supporting pre-commissioning and modernization requirements.
- Ensure program correspondence and deliverables implement the DOD/DON guidance.
- Develop and maintain project status briefs, trackers and other project management tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in any Discipline or 15+ years of relevant naval experience
- 7+ years of professional experience
- Navy Training Systems experience
Desired:
- Advanced Degree in a business or technical field and/or experience in Navy Training Systems discipline
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Navy Surface Combatant Ship experience and/or Navy Training Systems experience
