Summary:
● SYSTOLIC is seeking experienced candidates with experience building cloud applications. Candidates in this role will help build, design and maintain a Data Lake platform.
Qualifications & Compensation:
● Candidates selected for this position will receive approximately $314K/yr
● Sixteen (16) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED or Associates Degree
● Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
● Ten (10) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
● Must posses four (4) years of experience utilizing Big-Data cloud technologies and/or Distributed Computing.
● Cloudera Certified Hadoop Developer certification may be substituted for one (1) year of Cloud experience.
● Polygraph within the last five years is a firm requirement.
Job Description:
● Develop and maintain complex Big-Data Cloud systems, focusing on back-end processing, analysis, and indexing. Expertise in Cloud repository/Big Data, Hadoop, Java, and High Performance Computing. Utilizes Javascript, React.js, Node.js, Rust (for high-performance or secure portions), Python, and Bash. Implements micro-services architecture with Kubernetes and Helm.
● Manages tech-stack components including NiFi, Grafana, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL, and Kafka. Applies DevOps practices with Ansible, Salt, and Terraform. Works with VMWare, Virtual Box, PKI, Maven, Restful Web Services, Yarn, HBase, MongoDB, JVM, Linux, Subversion, ClearQuest, Dataflow, Apache Avro, System Security, Software Architecture, Software Testing, Requirements Analysis, and Map Reduce.
