Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and self-motivated Multimedia Communications Specialist to support communications for the Customer. While many communications functions are centralized at headquarters, this role remains embedded within the Learning Enterprise and serves as the primary communications lead for the organization.

This position requires a well-rounded communications professional who can independently manage the full spectrum of multimedia and strategic communications activities — from graphic design and digital content creation to event execution, executive visualizations, and publication management. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on production.

Key Responsibilities
Multimedia & Visual Communications
Design and produce high-quality graphic materials in support of instructors, program leads, and senior leadership
Capture, edit, and publish imagery that supports organizational initiatives and mission objectives
Develop multimedia communications products, including digital graphics, short-form video, visual storytelling pieces, and promotional materials
Ensure visual consistency and branding alignment across all communications products

Strategic Communications Support
Execute communications strategies in support of the Directorate and learning initiatives
Translate complex information into clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences
Develop messaging that supports sponsor-wide priorities and learning-focused campaigns
Serve as the primary communications point of contact within the Directorate

Publications & Marketing
Write, design, and publish a weekly newsletter for the instructor cadre
Develop advertisements and promotional materials for learning offerings
Manage content calendars and ensure timely distribution of communications products
Maintain quality control and editorial standards across deliverables

Data Visualization & Executive Products
Transform data into executive-ready visualizations, infographics, and briefing materials
Support senior leadership presentations with compelling and clear visual content
Develop dashboards or reporting visuals that communicate program performance and impact

Event Planning & Engagement
Plan and execute events supporting Learning Enterprise initiatives
Develop promotional materials, signage, and visual products for events
Support logistics coordination and create post-event communications products

4+ years of experience in multimedia communications, graphic design, or related field
Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, multimedia production, and written communications
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or comparable platforms)
Experience developing executive-level communications products
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills
Experience supporting government or mission-driven organizations
