JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking RF Test Technicians across first, second, and third shift to support one of our largest federal clients. Electronic Test Technician is required to test and troubleshoot digital, analog and RF assemblies down to the component level. Candidate must be proficient with the use of various test equipment and must be familiar with schematic diagrams. The following are classic day to day activities:
- Execute automated electrical and RF tests at the system level
- Run LabVIEW-based test sequences and monitor results
- Perform annual and production acceptance testing
- Troubleshoot electrical test failures using basic diagnostic tools
- Isolate issues and determine next steps within defined procedures
- Log test activity in the execution/MES system:
Track router steps (initial test, final test, troubleshooting)
Maintain full test traceability
Author failure reports using predefined selections and clear descriptions
Support testing across a range of cycle times
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Active Secret Clearance
Hands‑on experience with electrical or electronic testing
Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals:
Voltage, current, resistance
Basic circuit behavior and signal flow
Experience troubleshooting electrical failures (not engineering‑level diagnostics)
Comfortable working in a production test environment
Ability to follow controlled work instructions and quality processes
Willingness to work in a classified final assembly area
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately log and document test result
