What We're Looking For
As a CNO Reverse Engineer Level 2 at CyberPoint, you will analyze, deconstruct and understand complied software and firmware systems to support mission-driven cyber operations. You will reverse engineer binaries, operating system components and embedded software to determine functionality, identify vulnerabilities and enable the development of CNO capabilities.
The role requires strong low-level programming expertise, hands-on experience with modern reverse engineering toolchains and the ability to translate complex technical analysis into actionable insights and prototypes.

What You'll Do
  • Perform static and dynamic reverse engineering of compiled binaries, firmware and operating system components.
  • Analyze software behavior and system internals to determine functionality and security weaknesses.
  • Develop proof-of-concept code, patches or instrumentation based on reverse engineering findings.
  • Use software reverse engineering toolchains (e.g., disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers) to analyze code artifacts.
  • Support development of CNO capabilities through reverse-engineered insights and techniques.
  • Produce technical reports, documentation and briefings describing reverse engineering results.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and cyber operators to apply reverse engineering mission objectives.
  • Maintain and manage analysis artifacts using modern version control systems.
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

Salary Range: $142,000 - $194,000 Qualifications

What You'll Need
  • US Citizenship
  • TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Network Engineering in addition to 8 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware or software reverse engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools (hardware and software) such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja or similar.
  • Experience analyzing assembly or low-level system behavior
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and analysis reports
  • Firmware or embedded device reverse engineering experience
  • Vulnerability discovery or exploit development
  • Experience with ARM or x86 architectures
