As a CACI Mission & Engineering Technical Writer supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of technical engineering documentation and deliverables. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities integration.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in technical engineering documentation. You will meticulously review content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with organizational and industry requirements. Additionally, you will produce technical engineering and scientific illustrations for presentations and publications, ensuring they are appropriate to the requirements and effectively communicate complex information. Furthermore, you will create comprehensive documents for both internal and external publication, leveraging input from team members, stakeholders, research sources, and other content providers to ensure the information is well-organized, concise, and aligned with the organization's standards and guidelines
Your work will directly impact the quality and effectiveness of NAVWAR operations, contributing to the assurance and prevention of PNT information through coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations. More about the role:
You will write a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for documentation across a wide range of uses. You will integrate graphics, text, and other media to create compelling presentations and publications. Coordinating the production process, you will ensure that all materials are produced efficiently and effectively. You will proofread and edit correspondence, documents, memoranda, presentations, and other publication materials to ensure they conform to DoD standards for spelling, grammar, and style. Assisting content providers, you will help identify the appropriate medium and format for presentations and publications. Ensuring content is of high quality and conforms to standards, you will oversee the preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts, and conduct quality reviews of these materials. You will be responsible for producing, proofreading, editing, and formatting technical documentation, including design specifications, manuals, online help, procedures, plans, and proposals. You will edit and format information for consumption through various media channels, such as printed materials, scripted voice content, email, websites, and other electronic access points. Additionally, you will gather information, interview subject matter experts, and conduct other research to convey technical material in a concise and effective manner.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Must possess a current SECRET clearance.
- Education: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in English, communications, journalism, computer science, web design, engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Experience: 3 to 7 years of relevant experience, multiple levels needed.
