Opportunity Overview:
• Utilize your defense mission expertise to drive innovative solutions. Lead integration of long-range strike capabilities, addressing mission planning and cross-domain modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Integration of Long-Range Fires:
• Lead the incorporation of long-range fires into multi-domain kill chains and operational strategies.
• Serve as a liaison for the JASSM Program Office to synchronize strike capabilities.
• Expert Analysis:
• Provide insights as a JASSM subject-matter expert.
• Oversee weapon integration plans and mission system developments.
• Assessments and Recommendations:
• Assess kill chain effectiveness and identify opportunities for improving strike efficiency.
• Advise leadership on investment priorities and risks.
• Liaison Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Air Staff, MAJCOMs, and Combatant Commands for synchronized capability development.
• Ensure alignment with broader Joint kill chain objectives.
Qualifications:
• Essential:
• Experience in USAF operational planning, long-range strike, or weapons employment.
• Knowledge of kill chain concepts.
• Presentation experience to senior leadership.
• TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with JASSM and advanced weapons integration.
• Experience at MAJCOM or Air Staff level.
• Strong communication skills.
