The company. GPI performs Joint and Navy planning, provides expertise to Joint, Allied, and Fleet operational exercises and training, and provides new technical solutions such as Robotic Autonomous Systems (RAS). GPI prepares clients for the future operational environment, focusing on new technical solutions including unmanned systems, non-kinetic effects, space, and synthetic training.
The role: The individual assigned to this role will serve as RAS Regional Team Lead. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as primary point of contact for all Region Remote Autonomous System (RAS) technical analysis
- Lead the assigned Region RAS Team in representing the planning, execution, assessment and reporting of all analysis, evaluations, and events to appropriate boards, bureaus, centers, cells, and working groups, related to the identification, development, and evaluation of RAS – related technologies
- Design, develop, and deliver Flag / SES – level products and related briefings; examples include but are not limited to Exercise Schedules, Experimentation Schedules, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM), event planning, progress reports, after action reports (AARs), and technology assessments
- Perform cross-echelon coordination, collaboration, and liaison, as required; with navy, service, joint, allied, and partner stakeholder organizations and staffs to advance blue force warfighting through RAS capability and capacity development
- Identify key elements for RAS operations in all domains in support of blue force objectives.
- Assist in designing concepts of employment, operational vignettes, and concepts of operation to advance, and eventually mainstream the use of RAS in normal operations. Identify and create opportunities to apply RAS in theater operations, activities, exercises, experiments and other relevant events via joint, coalition and allied command and control structures
- Oversee the comparative analysis of technologies and systems. Provide subject matter expertise in command control, communication, computer, cyber, and intelligence (C5I) and ensure NATO interoperability and data exchange requirement considerations are inherent in all evaluations
- Ensure thorough examination of new and existing technology and systems through appropriate science and technology sources and communities; assist the government in developing priority capabilities milestones within iterative spirals and schedules
- Oversee the documentation of technical warfighting and capability specification findings, shortfalls, vulnerabilities, opportunities, desired behaviors, and other relevant design and/or performance attributes via appropriate documents and reports as directed.
- Assist the government in development of an optimized spend plan corresponding to identified priorities. Provide options and recommendations which balance achievement of near-term milestones, while concurrently defining and iterating mid- and long-term goals.
- Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to ensure inclusion of RAS within appropriate theater exercises, and other events to ensure performance, specifications, desired behaviors are demonstrated in realistic, representative, warfighting environment.
-Ensure all aspects of program management are available on a dedicated and centralized SharePoint site, which can be accessed by all stakeholders. Site should include a status of dashboard of all relevant events, schedules, participants, point of contact information, and other appropriate information. Site will also be the central repository of all applicable references, plans, orders, after action reports and other documents
- Identify and quantify the deliverables associated with the project, and identify any associated risks and recommend appropriate mitigation needed for execution
Perform Collaboration across TF 66 and Staff directorates to leverage military sea and air lift capabilities supporting event execution
Support TF66 on program and technical reviews in support of TF 66 Field Demonstration, and provide meeting minutes
- Support TF66 on program and technical reviews in support of TF 66 field demonstrations and provide meeting minutes
- Provide status reports to TF 66 of field demonstration progress, accomplishments, status, and issues
Required training, experience, qualifications, and skills:
- Competence in rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis.
- Ability to utilize statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other methods to analyze information and recommend practical solutions.
- Possess strong writing skills, enabling the preparation of briefs, white papers, and other documentation related to Navy experimentation at the Flag Level.
- BS/BA degree in Operational Research, Robotics, Physics or similar.
- Secret Clearance and be eligible for TS//SCI clearance

Advanced degree in Operational Research, Robotics, Physics or similar.
