The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Chief Information Officer In this role you will provide comprehensive program and project management support to the Global Field Support (GFS) Branch (CIO-3A) within the Defense Intelligence Agency's Enterprise Infrastructure Division (CIO-3). This position leads the planning, coordination, and execution of IT support services for Defense Attaché Offices (DAOs), Defense Intelligence Agency Liaisons (DIALs), Directorate of Operations Detachments, Operating Bases (OBs), and additional CONUS and OCONUS locations worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage GFS schedule and priorities, incorporating immediate concerns balanced with long-term DIA and CIO strategic goals
  • Recommend decision criteria and prioritization of resources including but not limited to hardware and labor to Government leadership
  • Establish and perform risk management analysis to ensure projects remain on schedule and external dependencies are identified ahead of resource commitment
  • Track GFS hardware inventory levels and coordinate vendor meetings on GFS-specific IT requirements
  • Coordinate and track completion with Logistics & CIO personnel on current shipping and installation projects
  • Provide coordination with multiple outside agencies required for shipping and site support
  • Provide GFS customer engagement, service, and support, including but not limited to customer outreach, briefings, and relationship management
  • Provide GFS' 160+ supported locations with comprehensive IT requirements management support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with Diplomatic Facilities Program Management Office (DFPMO) to align GFS actions with DFPMO renovation and construction schedules


Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI (CI Poly Preferred)

• 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience

• Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education OR Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education AND an additional 5 years of related senior experience (for a total of 13 years), as a substitute to the Master's degree

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel will be required within Washington National Capital Region (NCR) on an as-needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.


Level of Responsibility:
  • Work includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of administrative/operational needs.


Level of Supervision Required:
  • The supervisor sets the overall objectives and resources available. The employee plans and carries out the assignment resolves most of the conflicts, coordinates work with others and interpret policy on own initiative. The employee keeps the supervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters, or far-reaching implications.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate within a team environment.
  • Ability to type, sitting or standing, to complete work functions for hours at a time; ability to move between sitting, standing and walking on a frequent basis.
  • This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week on site, Monday through Friday, within the contract hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
