The scope of this requirement is to provide Flight Training Operations Support (FTOS) functions to AETC training squadrons. FTOS functions include aircrew Training support, and Standardization & Evaluation (Stan/Eval) support. The focus of work shall be to support non-flying duties in training squadrons that rated personnel traditionally perform as additional duties. Performance locations are active-duty training squadrons across AETC locations and are subject to change. Support is required through this contract to ensure complete coverage of the wing's overall flying operations and support requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders, for approval by the squadron Chief Training Officer (CTO).
  • Ensure students are loaded; set up student gradebooks in MS and prepare student gradebooks for closeout by squadron Chief Training Officer or designated Government representative.
  • Prepare AETC Form 904, Training Summary, for approval.
  • Perform regular gradebook checks for syllabus compliance IAW guidance issued by the chief of training.
  • Interface with Host Aviation Resource Management (HARM) personnel or Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM) personnel, if available, to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or future equivalent systems as needed.
  • The Contractor shall ensure the tasks in ARMS are accurately reflected in TIMS/GTIMS/TMS when needed.
  • Create review and update student/permanent party records, folders and grade books per the applicable AFIs.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for ground or ancillary training.
  • Coordinate with the Wing or Group Deployment Manager as needed to ensure pre-deployment training requirements are met.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a DoD operational flying unit (active duty, guard/reserve, contractor or civilian).
  • Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have the ability to operate the following systems/programs:
  • Computer based training and integrated management system (TIMS, GTIMS and/or PEX)
  • SharePoint websites and communities of practice
  • Microsoft Access highly desired

Salary
  • Wage & Determination: $33.66/hr.
  • Health & Welfare: $5.09/hr.
