Work will be performed in secure government environments supporting highly sensitive, mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate brings both technical mastery and strategic insight to ensure rigorous, evidence-based assessment of system performance.

Responsibilities

As a senior technical leader in test and evaluation, you will guide comprehensive test strategies, execute evaluation activities, and provide actionable insights to senior program leadership. • Develop, maintain, and validate test plans, procedures, data collection methods, and evaluation criteria for complex systems.
  • Coordinate test readiness across engineering, systems, and acquisition teams, ensuring integrated and technically robust test execution.
  • Manage and oversee deficiency identification, tracking, and resolution through formal test boards and working groups.
  • Analyze test data, assess system performance, and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior government leadership.
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation across space, ground, and C2 mission segments.
  • Prepare and deliver technical briefings, risk assessments, and decision-support documentation to senior stakeholders.
  • Represent the program office in contractor test reviews, technical interchange meetings, and cross-organizational forums.
  • Mentor and guide junior test engineers, fostering a high-performing, knowledge-sharing team environment.

Qualifications
  • Expert-level experience in ACAT-like test and evaluation planning and execution for developmental and operational testing of complex systems.
  • Proven ability to lead test teams, manage high-stakes evaluations, and deliver actionable technical recommendations.
  • Experience managing test deficiencies and coordinating resolution in formal processes or boards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex test data and communicate results effectively to senior leadership.
  • Experience in SAPF/SCIF environments or highly classified programs preferred.

Desired Requirements
  • Experience supporting ACAT I/II or highly classified special access programs.
  • Familiarity with DoD test and evaluation standards, milestone reviews, and verification processes.
  • Experience with test management tools, automated testing frameworks, or advanced data analysis systems.

Education Requirements
  • MA/MS degree preferred.
  • Tradeoff: A Bachelor's degree is acceptable with 12+ years of relevant experience in similar programs or positions.
  • The Materiel Leader may waive the MA/MS requirement based on experience and mission needs.

  • Must be willing to work in SAP environments as needed.
  • Must maintain TS/SCI eligibility and be willing to undergo a Counterintelligence polygraph.
