Description:You will be the Aircraft Technician, F-22 - Level 4 for the Maintenance Team which is responsible for ensuring mission-critical readiness of F-22 aircraft at Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hickam, Hawaii.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aircraft Technician, F-22 - Level 4 you will be responsible for delivering precise, time-critical low observable maintenance and supporting the aircraft's structural integrity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform time-critical low observable (LO) maintenance, including coatings removal, panel replacement, structural repairs on metallic and composite components, and aircraft modifications.
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings, technical manuals, and structural repair manuals while collaborating with engineers.
- Complete required on-the-job training and deliver training as directed.
- Adhere to a flexible shift schedule to meet mission demands.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and FOD-free work environment.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to work multiple shifts. The selected candidate must possess an acquire an Interim Secret clearance prior to start with the ability to obtain a final secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
This position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of 3 years of 5th Gen Aircraft experience in Low observable coatings.
- Military experience must have been previously awarded an Air Force 7 to 9 skill level or equivalent USMC or US Navy CDI/CDQAR qualification or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential
Desired Skills:
- Low Observable Coatings application experience
- Experience with applying spray coatings to aircraft
- Fabricate detail parts such as shims, splices, brackets, doubles, stiffeners, and patches - Use shop aids to facilitate assembly and installation as required.
- Bonding of aircraft parts, assemblies and materials
- Experience and knowledge of Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS)
- Working Knowledge of such programs as Hazardous Waste Management, Safety, Training, FOD, Security, Supply Chain Management, and Time Accounting
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
