Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lifecycle sustainment plans for aircraft components.
- Monitor and analyze component performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient component sustainment.
- Manage sustainment program budgets and resources.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for component failures.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to component sustainment processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams.
- Manages the production planning and control activities.
- Adjusts production schedules and in response to changes in demand, materials, or other resources.
- Coordinates with the purchasing function to ensure availability of raw materials.
- Advises sales or customer service functions on availability of finished product.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
- Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
- Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.
Qualifications
- Must be able to interpret Army aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- 3 years minimum as a site lead/ supervisor.
