As the Production Controller - Aircraft Component Lifecycle Sustainment Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of aircraft components, ensuring their optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing sustainment programs, and implementing strategies to extend the lifecycle of critical components.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lifecycle sustainment plans for aircraft components.
  • Monitor and analyze component performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient component sustainment.
  • Manage sustainment program budgets and resources.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for component failures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to component sustainment processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams.
  • Manages the production planning and control activities.
  • Adjusts production schedules and in response to changes in demand, materials, or other resources.
  • Coordinates with the purchasing function to ensure availability of raw materials.
  • Advises sales or customer service functions on availability of finished product.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
  • Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to interpret Army aircraft maintenance procedures.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • 3 years minimum as a site lead/ supervisor.
