We are seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Software Engineer to support a long-term, mission-critical federal intelligence program. The team sustains and enhances an enterprise-level geospatial information management platform that serves as a central gateway for submitting, managing, and adjudicating intelligence requirements. The system enables users to search, retrieve, and manage imagery and related data while supporting collection, exploitation, dissemination, and production workflows across multiple providers.
This program operates within a DevSecOps and Agile environment, emphasizing automation, collaboration, integration, performance measurement, and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in Agile scrum teams to plan, execute, and coordinate development activities
Design, build, test, document, and debug mission-critical software solutions
Implement development standards and processes across the full SDLC
Analyze system functionality to clarify requirements, inputs/outputs, controls, and program intent
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across environments
Support COTS/FOSS integrations and ensure compliance with established software standards
Contribute to technical documentation and lifecycle artifacts
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance (current investigation required)
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related technical field
Strong experience in Java development
Proficiency troubleshooting across Linux/UNIX and Windows environments
Experience integrating and supporting COTS and open-source solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
Preferred Experience
Large-scale enterprise software development
Agile methodologies (SAFe preferred)
Experience with Angular, DOJO, WebLogic, Tomcat
Database experience: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL
Web and microservices technologies: REST, Docker, Kubernetes, EJB, XML
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Jira, Kafka, etc.)
Big data ecosystems (Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
Experience with containerization and configuration management tools
