JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking to hire a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a customer in Annapolis, MD. This person will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across facility systems to ensure a safe, functional, and well maintained environment. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
Perform routine inspections of building systems including lighting, plumbing fixtures, and electrical components.
Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, patching walls, and basic carpentry tasks.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of mechanical rooms and maintenance areas.
Assist with office or equipment moves, including assembling or disassembling furniture.
Ensure building grounds are maintained (e.g., snow removal assistance, trash pickup, walkway upkeep).
Communicate facility issues to management and recommend corrective actions.
Support emergency response situations, including power outages, spills, or equipment failures.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance
Skilled in conducting general maintenance support including replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, patching walls, and basic carpentry tasks
Reliable transportation to get to/from work
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to comply with federal law
