The Opportunity:
As a CACI Fires Capabilities Manager (ARSOF) for the Force Modernization Center, you will leverage your specialized expertise to aid the client in executing the Joint Targeting Cycle for the United States Army Special Operations Command's (USASOC). Your role will modernize the force by advising, evaluating, planning, coordinating, and integrating precision, near-precision and area fire effects and non-kinetic effects within a special operations and conventional force environment. You will get to draw on your knowledge of combatant command-level Targeting and the Joint Fires Element to innovate the application of power by service components and task forces, ensuring alignment with the commander's objectives. Additionally, you will get to integrate innovative processes and equipment for Joint Fires into strategic plans and operations. This role offers a significant opportunity to utilize these skills in protecting our national security and advising our nation's leaders.
Responsibilities:
As the Fires Capabilities Manager for Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF), you will leverage your specialized expertise to assist in development, integration, testing, of high priority, full spectrum, targeting capabilities for ARSOF Units to resolve/mitigate high risk capability gaps. You will support all aspects of development, integration, and testing such as coordination with vendors and other government agencies, technology development integration requirements, test planning, range coordination, initial operator training, and risk assessments. Responsibilities:

Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Assists in development and staffing of DOTMLPF-P Change Requests (DCRs) and other requirements documents.
- Responsible for providing subject matter expertise to support the operational development acquisition and testing, the development of new Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) commodity area of Target Engagement systems tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and support all ongoing DOTMLPF-P integration efforts within the Army Special Operations -Capability Management Program as well as Capability Development experimentation and exercise efforts.
- Leverages emerging technology to develop innovative material and non-material solutions that enable ARSOF to discriminately engage selected targets.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in planning and executing fire support missions, coordinating indirect fires, one-way attacks, and close air support.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with F3EA targeting process with demonstrated proficiency in fire support systems, including UAS for reconnaissance and targeting supporting SOF or combatant command operations missions.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with irregular warfare, which may include operations in denied or hostile environments.
- In-depth knowledge of ROE and LOAC of Fire Support operations.
- Working knowledge of tools and knowledge management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
Desired:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Completion of Joint Targeting School.
- Completion of specialized training tailored to SOF operations, including advanced targeting, irregular warfare, and unconventional delivery methods.
- Ability to lead Joint Targeting Cycle activities throughout the spectrum of conflict and interface with and prepare leaders up to the General Officer or Flag Officer level on sensitive military capabilities.
- Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations via conventional and unconventional fire support assets, including precision-guided munitions, close air support from special operations aircraft, and SOF-specific assets with specialized munitions and delivery systems tailored for SOF operations.
