Responsibilities:
In this customer-facing role, you'll partner closely with NavalX to ensure the efficient flow of projects and funding across designated contract vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial & Workflow Oversight
- Track and analyze funding workflows and expenditures
- Monitor and review required funding documentation
- Proactively recommend and implement actions based on project status
- Serve as backup procurement point of contact including analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs), executing purchase card or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes for line and spot buying, and reconciling
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between sponsor organizations and government stakeholders
- Regularly interface with government partners to guide projects and funding through required workflows
- Maintain operational cadence and throughput to meet program objectives
- Process Improvement & Reporting
- Identify inefficiencies and propose streamlined processes and workflows
- Assist in researching and preparing responses to sponsor and stakeholder data calls
- Support documentation and reporting requirements with accuracy and clarity
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration ore related field preferred) or Associate's degree and 3 years of professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in business operations, financial analysis, contract management, financial operations, and/or program/project management
- Strong comfort working with numbers and financial data
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience writing and editing professional or technical documentation
- Confident to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Desired:
- Experience with Federal government contracts
- Ability to interpret and apply standard operating procedures, business rules, regulations, etc.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, vendors, customers
