"The selected candidate will join a team responsible for daily system monitoring and operations, as well as for maintaining the C2BMC-G systems in a 24/7 environment dedicated to space domain awareness and space defense. They will offer first-level technical support to the customer and conduct initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC-G hardware, software, and networks.
Essential Functions:
• Will document and report all events/issues to leadership
• Will receive tasking and direction from leadership for all operations, tests, and real-world events
• The candidate will also help with maintaining user accounts as instructed by the local ISSO
• Manages and maintains the C2BMC-G mission and training systems environment for both operational and training missions, supporting C2BMC's role within the Missile Defense Integration & Operations Center (MDIOC)
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
• Skilled in managing data flow and troubleshooting network connectivity issues with both internal teams and external agencies
• Work is closely overseen following established policies and procedures or under very general supervision
• Contacts are mainly with the immediate supervisor and colleagues within the company or group, but can also include external contacts
• Performs additional duties and assignments as needed
Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
• Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA-Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with eligibility to be read in at SCI
• The position requires rotating 24/7 shifts. The candidate will be assigned to a specific shift and to either Ops or Training, depending on mission needs. Some substitution during off shifts, including nights and weekends, may be required
• Strong background and experience in operating and maintaining large-scale computer and communications systems and networks
• Experience in system and/or network administration covering UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience and knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense Systems
• Linux Certification (Linux Essentials, Linux+, LPIC-1, RHCSA)
• Experience using Confluence and Jira
• Basic scripting (Bash)
• Active Directory experience"
