Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly qualified Knowledge Manager to support U.S. Space Forces in Europe - Space Forces Africa. The Knowledge Manager will serve as the organizational "traffic controller" for all official tasking and correspondence, functioning as the single point of accountability for the entire tasker management process. This position requires both technical proficiency with the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), formerly Task Management Tool (TMT), and strong understanding of military organizational structure and processes at the staff level. You will own and manage the tasker management framework that implements decision-making authority, standardized timelines, performance tracking, and quality control to enable timeliness and accountability across the organization. Experience with DoD, Air/Space Force, or MAJCOM staff operations is highly valued, understanding of Knowledge Management (KM) policy and frameworks is essential, and familiarity with staff communication systems (e.g., SharePoint/Microsoft Teams) is mandatory.

What You Will Do
- Support KM and Battle Rhythm and Business Process (BRBP) initiatives, to include but not limited to administrative support, program planning, execution, task and knowledge management, strategic planning, and process improvement.
- Lead and coordinate the ETMS2/TMT function as the single entry point, maintaining full visibility, control, and daily mailbox oversight.
- Prioritize, triage, and drive workflow execution: classify work (Critical/Priority/Routine); immediately escalate urgent items; assign OPR/OCR with internal suspense dates; and implement automated or manual work arounds across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS.
- Act as the final QC checkpoint before any tasker response reaches CoS, CG/DCOM, or HHQ.
- Produce weekly dashboards for the CoS showing on time completion rates, workload trends, directorate performance, and bottlenecks.
- Capture key tasker metrics (timeliness, workload distribution, OPR performance, priority alignment, efficiency) and retain exportable TMT data for trend analysis.
- Verify completeness, format, required attachments, and full coordination and return substandard products to OPRs with clear, actionable feedback to streamline rework regardless of rank.
- Dynamically adjust internal timelines according to task complexity, coordination needs, and senior leader review requirements, protecting review windows and preventing last minute rushes.
- Produce reports, data visualizations, and operating procedures to enable application and adoption of approved KM plans using available tools, IT systems, and SharePoint while advising on workflow automation improvements.
- Strengthen connections to aid information exchange within IT systems; support establishment of unity in the organization; execute info technology within the company.
- Enforce a standardized suspense architecture with built in buffers for multi level reviews based on business rules.
- Leverage SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for coordinated communication, meeting facilitation, and cross functional collaboration.
- Support the organization's KM strategy through effective documentation, archiving, and information sharing practices.
- Apply DoD/military administrative and records management protocols to review, track, and prioritize official documentation.
- Organize virtual and in person meetings: prepare agendas, capture minutes, distribute them, and track action items.
What We Are Looking For
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of ETMS2/TMT architecture, workflows, best practices, and functional limitations with the ability to design work arounds while preserving process integrity.
- Extensive experience in supporting the development of strategic documents, implementation plans and guidelines, memorandums, reports, and other information that may be presented to the most senior leaders of the U.S. Government.
- Prior staff or command experience at Squadron/Group/Wing/MAJCOM level in the Air Force, Space Force, Army, or joint DoD environment.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and ability to operate on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Bachelor's degree w/4 years recent specialized experience OR; associate's degree w/6 years recent specialized experience; OR relevant professional certification w/ 7 years recent specialized experience; OR 11 years recent specialized experience.
- Strong understanding of DoD information security policies, directives, and contingency plans; ability to interpret military regulations and apply them to administrative and workflow processes.
- Strong leadership presence to enforce standards, timelines, and quality requirements across multiple directorates, including with senior rank personnel.
- Advanced data analysis capability and experience producing performance reports for senior leadership.
- Experience supporting SES and GO/FO level leadership.
