Position Overview
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to support the Department of the Air Force Integrated Fires Command and Control (DIFC2) Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) Team in Reston, VA. This dual-role position blends Agile leadership with deep technical expertise to drive successful Agile Release Trains while ensuring seamless administration of Atlassian JIRA tools. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling scaled Agile delivery, optimizing DevSecOps pipelines, and maintaining secure, mission-critical systems for a federal government program.
Responsibilities
• Administer and optimize Atlassian toolsets including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket to support Agile tracking, workflows, permissions, and reporting.
• Design, configure, and maintain custom JIRA workflows, dashboards, and reports aligned with scaled Agile and ART processes.
• Create and manage JIRA Agile boards, filters, schemes, and user accounts for ART teams.
• Develop and implement JIRA automation rules to streamline and optimize business processes.
• Utilize JIRA Query Language (JQL) to deliver advanced metrics and reporting for Agile planning and execution.
• Integrate JIRA with third-party tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, Jenkins) to support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps workflows.
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform upgrades, and ensure compliance with security requirements in classified environments.
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI clearance or SCI eligibility (U.S. citizenship required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator – Cloud certification.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a JIRA Administrator, including workflow creation, dashboards, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience leading Agile teams in DevSecOps environments.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines in cloud or hybrid infrastructures.
• Prior experience as a Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or Agile Program Manager, including driving SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
