Principal DevSecOps Automation Engineer
ASRC Federal is seeking Senior DevSecOps Automation Engineers to design, enhance, and sustain CI/CD automation across the DSOP ecosystem. This role focuses on pipeline engineering, automated security integration, and improving deployment velocity and reliability for Army mission systems.
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. An active Secret clearance is preferred but not required at time of hire. Selected candidates without an active clearance will be sponsored for a DoD Secret clearance

Principal DevSecOps Automation Engineer
ASRC Federal is seeking Senior DevSecOps Automation Engineers to design, enhance, and sustain CI/CD automation across the DSOP ecosystem. This role focuses on pipeline engineering, automated security integration, and improving deployment velocity and reliability for Army mission systems.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for DSOP applications and services
- Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks
- Build infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab/GitHub Actions
- Support containerization, image hardening, and pipeline governance
- Troubleshoot CI/CD workflow issues and optimize build/test processes
- Implement best practices for automated deployments within secure DoD environments
- Partner with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams
- Enhance deployment reliability using observability, monitoring, and automation tooling
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance (Active Secret preferred)
- 7-10+ years of DevSecOps, automation engineering, or platform engineering experience
- Strong understanding of GitOps, CI/CD, and containerized deployment models
- Expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, and pipeline tools
- Experience integrating automated security controls in regulated or DoD environments preferred
- Strong scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
