Responsibilities

  • Execute operations support tasks for Cyber Protection Team (CPT) Standardization/Evaluation sections.
  • Complete administration of Patriot Excalibur (PEX), or equivalent system of record, requirements to track mission qualification requirements.
  • Members will not accomplish the mission qualification evaluations, but will coordinate records reviews, provide operator qualification statuses, schedule evaluations, coordinate range setup and assist the self-assessment program manager during routine inspections.


Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Two (2) or more years' experience in cyber security required
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level III or DoD 8140 Work Role Code 511certification (current)
  • Possess, or be willing to obtain within 6-months of start date, an additional operating system, or security tool related certification
  • Experience with Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or equivalent system of record, requirements
  • General knowledge of cyber security frameworks, such as the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and the NIST 800 series
  • General knowledge of physical computer components and architectures, including the functions of computer domains, directory services, various components and peripherals, basic programming concepts, assembly codes, TCP/IP, OSI models, underlying networking protocols (e.g., DNS, ARP, etc.), security hardware and software
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision
