Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator position that just opened in Canonsburg, PA. In this role you'll perform performs complex production and assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies supporting classified DoD programs. To be considered, you must have a High School Diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience. Must have an active Secret Security Clearance at the time of hire.

Contract: 12 months or longer
Pay: $27.88/hour
Telecommute: Onsite

Role Summary
The Senior Manufacturing / Production Operator performs complex production and assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies supporting classified DoD programs. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions to produce high?quality hardware.

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required


Security Clearance Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance is required at time of hire
  • Candidates will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information


Work Location Requirement
  • This position is 100% onsite in Canonsburg, PA


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repetitive and non?repetitive production assembly operations on:
    • Electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
    • Modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
  • Read and interpret basic schematics, drawings, and work instructions
  • Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing
  • Integrate subassemblies into final hardware assemblies
  • Perform final assembly of small systems
  • Conduct basic electrical tests
  • Perform more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems
  • Follow defined methods, techniques, and sequences of operations to ensure quality and compliance


Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Understanding of polarity, inspection criteria, and Bills of Material (BOM)
  • Familiarity with work order tracking and manufacturing management systems
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment and basic math
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
