Position Summary: The Kenjya-Trusant Group is looking for a Senior Acquisition Consultant to support our customer located at Fort Meade, MD near Annapolis Junction, MD. The Senior Acquisition Consultant provides strategic acquisition and contract management expertise in support of complex cyberspace operations and multi-stakeholder federal environments. This role leads full life-cycle acquisition activities, ensures compliance with Federal and DoD regulations, and delivers high-quality acquisition documentation, analysis, and program management support.

Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and execute all phases of the acquisition life cycle, including pre-award, award, and post-award activities.
- Develop and manage acquisition documentation such as:
- Acquisition strategies and plans
- Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), and Statements of Objectives (SOO)
- Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE)
- Market research reports
- Justifications and approvals
- Conduct data collection, cost analysis, and procurement analysis to support acquisition decisions.
- Perform invoice review and analysis to ensure contractual compliance and funding accuracy.
- Manage contract deliverables, track performance metrics, and ensure timely submission and acceptance.
- Develop executive-level briefings, status reports, dashboards, and ad hoc acquisition products to meet customer needs.
- Coordinate actions, documentation, and milestone tracking across technical, contracting, financial, and operational stakeholders.
- Apply project management principles to manage acquisition schedules, risks, dependencies, and action tracking through completion.
- Support IT and cyberspace-related contracting efforts in complex operational environments.
- Ensure acquisition activities align with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and applicable DoD regulatory and legislative guidance.
- Provide advisory support to Government program managers and contracting officers.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Master's degree in relevant field a minimum of 10 years of related experience. In lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree with an additional 2 years of experience may be substituted.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management performing all aspects of acquisition life cycle activities, including: Pre-award, award, and post-award functions, Development of acquisition documentation, Data collection and analysis, Invoice review and analysis, Deliverable tracking and management, Development of status reports, briefings, and customer-driven products
- Minimum 5 years of experience implementing project management principles, including managing and tracking a broad range of acquisition actions, documents, and tasks through completion.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Federal and/or DoD acquisitions.
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex cyberspace operation and/or multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Ability to operate in classified environments.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in acquisition tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-tempo environment.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
- Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) certification.
- Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) and/or Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certification.
- Experience using official program documentation to manage acquisition programs in accordance with DoD regulatory and legislative guidance (e.g., DoDD 5000.02 framework).
- Experience in technical writing and documentation of complex technical or cyber-related concepts.
- Experience supporting Information Technology contracting and task order management.
- Experience supporting cyber, IT modernization, or mission systems acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) principles.
- Experience supporting high-visibility or mission-critical programs.
