2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
OR
Four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Position Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the development, test, and deployment of production-ready software features and enhancements of mission applications deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.
Position Required Skills
Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
Software development experience with multiple programming languages such as C/C++, and Java
Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
Experience with Git Source Control System
Position Desired Skills
Software development experience with Web Frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular
Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
AWS Cloud experience
