ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides strategic planning support for the development of NA-90 organizational planning, business process improvements, and management guidance.
  • Support NNSA's infrastructure planning activities, including integrating across eight geographically diverse sites and multiple programs to develop plans revitalize and modernize infrastructure to support key capabilities.
  • Provides technical and analytical support and advice to NA-911 senior management and program managers on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Conduct independent research, obtain information from various sources, and perform special studies as needed to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Forecast the impact of changes to short- and long-term plans, based on department specific tools and data systems.
  • Provides program management support. Support planning, prioritizing, and coordinating with other NNSA programs and organizations.
  • Applies comprehensive and intensive knowledge of NA-90 program goals, objectives, and plans to identify potential problems and propose solutions. Evaluates the impact of alternatives to accomplishing established objectives, provides analytic advice to facilitate program and project management functions and improvements of the office and leads initiatives based on that evaluation and advice.
  • Develops program briefings and conducts analysis and develops findings and recommendations on program matters.
  • Coordinate, consolidate, and integrate team input into clear and balanced documentation and policies to support leadership decision-making.


MINIMUM QUALIFCATIONS

  • College Graduate required; preferred B.S.
  • Prior work experience performing technical data management experience is an acceptable substitute for non-technical degree
  • At least 2-years related experience
  • Program management and strategic planning skills and experience
  • Ability to work as part of hard working, dynamic team
  • Highly energetic and innovative
  • Strong interest in national security
  • Q-clearance or ability to acquire a Q clearance
  • Full time position with a combination telework/in office.


PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS

  • Master's Degree in related field
  • At least 4-years strong prior related experience
  • Knowledge or experience in infrastructure or large facilities program/project management
  • Prior NNSA experience


Location: This is a hybrid position in Washington, DC.

SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.
