Location: Remote (With Travel)
Job Description:
Serve as a Network Analyst
Plan, analyze, and design a computer network
Work on designing and implementing plans for a computer network
Evaluate site drawings to ensure sites can support installation of network
Ensure IT hardware/equipment for network can be installed and maintained
Coordinate with project managers and IT infrastructure managers for:
Access to facilities for planned IT hardware installations
Document findings of site verification/inspection
Qualifications:
BS in Information Technology or other related discipline
5+ years of experience in systems engineering and requirements development
Knowledge in planning, development, and installation of computer networks
Experience conducting site surveys for the installation of a computer network
Ability to interpret plans and drawings of a proposed network
Strong understanding of networking hardware and power requirements
Experience drafting technical reports and assessments for site surveys and verifications
Following certifications preferred:
CCNA
Network +
Experience with transportation security domain and airport IT infrastructure (preferred)
Willing to travel 50-75% of the time (Travel requires independent work)
Active DoD Secret Clearance
