The JTMS program will have Intermediate, Senior and Subject Matter Expert level Business Process Engineer opportunities available. Candidates at all levels can apply to this job posting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting reviews, analyses, and reengineering of business processes to align with the JTMS materiel solution.
  • Conduct BPR related activity required as part of the systems engineering process to support mapping, use case development, end-to-end process modeling, and detailed functional and system requirements decomposition as part of specified and approved IT system design, development, and modernization activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including USTRANSCOM, JDDE, and other JTMS contractors, to ensure accurate process capture, validate requirements and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Support the identification and documentation of gaps between current processes and solution capabilities.
  • Assist in the implementation of reengineered processes, ensuring they are correctly configured, tested, and deployed.
  • Leverage Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop process models, capture business rules, decision logic, exception handling, and end-to-end process flows.
  • Research regulations to identify DOTMLPF-P impacts and recommendations.
  • Measure the performance and effectiveness of reengineered processes using established KPIs and other metrics.
  • Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify opportunities for process automation, improvement, and increased efficiency and auditability and provide advice and recommendations.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Secret Security Clearance, or US citizen with ability to successfully pass Tier 1 investigation upon hire
  • Bachelor's Degree in Transportation & Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical/Applied Sciences or management discipline such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management Information Technology
  • Intermediate level: 3+ years general experience in Business Process Reengineering, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving or in a related area
  • Senior Level: 5-8 years of experience in Business Process Engineering, business analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis and problem solving related area
  • Subject Matter Expert Level: 8+ years of experience in business process engineering, business analysis, data analysis, statistical analysis and problem solving related area
  • Experience with BPMN
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work as a team member in a diverse group to include government and military personnel
  • Strong analytical, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
  • High attention to detail, particularly with documentation and reporting


Desired:
  • Secret security clearance
  • Functional experience within USTRANSCOM Operations and DoD Transportation Systems
  • General knowledge of Defense Transportation System regulations and the DOTMLPF-P framework
  • General knowledge of SAP and ERP
  • SAFe Agile experience
