Summary:
The Programmer Developer will focus on design, construction, testing and deployment of a system modeled to support the maintenance functional and technical requirements. They will support system design and construction geared specifically toward leveraging Web-based technology and techniques. They will work closely with the entire integrated project team to support process analysis, detection and diagnosis of problems, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications in accordance with documented requirements and technical specifications.
- Write, modify, and maintain source code for front-end, middle-tier, and/or back-end components of web-based or enterprise applications.
- Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Translate written requirements, models, and workflows into logical program designs and detailed coding solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support system testing activities.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Support system enhancements, upgrades, and sustainment activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation and development artifacts.
- Provide regular status updates on assigned tasks, including progress, issues, and risk areas.
- Ensure software development activities comply with quality assurance, configuration management, and security standards.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to assess and understand functional and technical requirements.
- Working experience with Java, JavaScript.
- Understand principles of user interface design.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow Quality Assurance processes and guidelines.
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other computer-related degree) with at least 4 years of related experience OR a master's degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with at least 8 years of related and demonstrated work experience .
- Experience with or functional knowledge of three-tiered architecture: Front-End (web server), Middle Tier (application server), Back-End (database server)

- Must be a U.S. citizen.
