What You Will Do:
As a Level 1 Service Project Manager with Independent Software, you will support the coordination and execution of service-related projects within technical IT operational environments. As a Level 1 Service Project Manager with Independent Software, you will support the coordination and execution of service-related projects within technical IT operational environments. You will be responsible for communicating issues and solutions in a timely manner, assisting with resource allocation, and supporting the activities of the project team. This role requires strong planning skills, the ability to interface with multiple internal and external organizations, and the capability to work effectively within highly technical environments supporting Government mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate project issues, risks, and solutions in a timely and effective manner
- Allocate and coordinate resources, including staffing, facilities, and budgets, as required
- Manage and support the day-to-day activities of the project team
- Provide direction and mentoring to project team members as needed
- nterface with internal teams, external partners, and Government stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Support projects in large-scale IT operational environments such as event monitoring and management, security services, IP Telephony, Video Teleconferencing, and implementation of new equipment and services
- Work effectively with IT professionals performing systems engineering and administration in highly technical environments
- Adjust priorities and project schedules based on evolving operational needs
- Ensure cross-discipline integration across the contract to meet Government requirements
- Experience supporting projects in technical IT operational environments
- Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical personnel, leadership, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with technical systems, services, and operational support environments
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements
- Capability to interface with multiple organizations internally and externally
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer, Business, or Math-related field and five (5) years of experience in two of the following system categories: acquisition, processing, analysis, and reporting. An Associate's Degree and an additional seven (7) years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
